AMVETS Post 1992 Activities

The AMVETS Post 1992 in Mt. Dora has the “Best Breakfast in Lake County” every Sunday, 8:30 to 10:30 AM with biscuits, grits, sausage gravy, bacon, sausage with scrambled eggs, toast, home fries, pancakes, French toast and made to order eggs, all for a donation of $6.50. Add $1.00 for omelettes. Wash it all down with coffee/tea/juice. First Responders in uniform & children under 6 years eat for FREE.
Mondays – Cornhole Tournaments start at 6:00 PM with serving of wings, things & pizza from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
Tuesdays – Sad Sacks Bingo 1:0l PM. Spaghetti & meat sauce or chicken tender dinners from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Music from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.
Wednesday – Harry Doremus Wacky Hot Dog Day with music from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with fundraiser auction for the Auxillary.
Thursday – Steak lunch from 11: AM to 2: PM. Cheeseburger & fries dinner from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with music from 6:00 to 10:00 PM.
Friday – Every Friday AMVETS Post 1992 will serve fried fish, chicken or shrimp dinner from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Music from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. Wear RED on Friday to Remember Everyone Deployed.
Saturday – AMVETS Post 1992 serves special home made dinners from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with music from 6:00 to 10:00 PM.
AMVETS Post 1992 in Mt. Dora invites anyone connected to the US Armed Military Forces past & present be signed in by a member & join our Amvet Family.
