Posted on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 1:05 am

At the Leesburg Public Library we have a holiday tradition – an annual food drive. Now through Saturday, December 29, library patrons, city employees and local citizens can visit the library to donate food to benefit the Leesburg Food Bank. There will be collection boxes at the library and at the Leesburg City Hall. Food donations will not waive patron’s fines.
This year the Leesburg Food Bank has identified a group especially in need, senior citizens. Here is the list of requested items for donation:
· Canned meat & fruit
· Canned soups, stews & pasta
· Hamburger/Tuna Helper
· Packaged oatmeal/grits
· Ensure/Boost
· Pet food
