Green Valley Women's Golf

On Thursday, January 26th, the Ladies of Green Valley Women's Golf Ass'n played a Best Nine hole tournament. This is an individual event playing 18 holes, but using only your best 9 holes for score less 1/2 of handicap. The winners of this event were: 1st Place - Linda Clegg, 2nd - Barbara Boyd, 3rd- Sara Beechler, 4th - Pippi Gemmill, 5th - Carol Riccio, 6th - Sue O'bryan, and in 7th - Arlene Jackson.

Then on Thursday, February 2nd, they held their monthly tournament followed by a luncheon and business meeting. The tournament was shamble with 28 girls particpatiing in this event. The winning team was Earlise Stotts, Chris Bishop, Theresa Schmidt, and Linda Clegg; 2nd Place - Pippi Gemmill, Sarah Jossart, Betty DaDalt and Sarah Beechler; 3rd place - Mary Butterworth, Janice Pillows, Ginger Newquist, and Barbara Boyd.
