LaPierre Cabinetry Can Give Your Home
a New Look
Replacing cabinets in a kitchen or a bathroom is a great way to
update your home, while also increasing the value. With today’s
many choices of woods, finishes and even hardware, it helps to seek
the advice of a professional cabinet maker. Contrary to belief,
consulting and working with a locally owned and operated cabinet
shop is the best way to go.
Not only are they competitive in price to the large corporate stores,
but the personal attention and professional advice you will receive
is an added bonus. In Lake County, finding the right person to help
you make those cabinet choices is easy.
John LaPierre’s interest in woodworking began as a young teenager.
He began his work in Upstate New York, at what he did not know at
the time would be his lifelong career and passion. Through the years
he attained a high level of excellence in many phases of woodworking.
In 1973, John moved to the “Sunshine State” and opened
LaPierre Cabinetry, which designs and manufactures custom cabinetry.
Today the family owned business includes his wife, Grace and son,
Matthew. After 36 years, John still loves the business and is dedicated
to the future. “I had almost grown bored with the industry
20 years ago, but things changed when kitchens and bathrooms became
more of a focal point in the home,” said John.
John takes pride in spending time with his customers in the initial
design phase. “It is the fun part of my business,” says
John. “When building cabinets, I want to make sure that not
only the color is right, but the design is ideal for my client’s
home and functions well for their lifestyles.” John pays attention
to even the smallest details. His customer base now extends
to two generations in many families. Dr. and Mrs. Moffet are eager
to recommend them. “My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed
working with him,” said Mrs. Moffet. “He did a total
re-make of our kitchen and bath, and my daughter-in- law was so
impressed, she also had him do work in her home. John is a true
craftsman! Also; when they give you an estimate for a job; the work
is done with in budget and on time.”
Other customers are eager to recommend them as well. John and
LeeLoni Rice have used them over and over. “They have built
cabinets for three of my kitchens. I would never go any where else.
I designed my kitchens, John enhanced the plans with his expertise
and they always turned out beautifully. John also built a computer
desk from a picture I gave him out of a magazine. He custom made
it to fit in a corner. It turned out better than the original picture!”
LaPierre Cabinetry has earned a reputation for being the best
around for their creative finishing work. The staff takes great
pride in upholding that honor...acknowledging that this is what
sets them apart in the industry. Whatever finish you choose; from
the Old World look to the modern high gloss, you can rest assured
it will be unique and perfect. There are hundreds of finishes; many
that you can view in their showroom. Each finish can be modified
to fit your taste or to match existing decor or furniture.
Although most of the work is done on premises, LaPierre Cabinetry
also offers four lines of cabinets that can be ordered to fit and
have a faster turn around time. John chose companies that offer
quality cabinets that have the flexibility to customize and in a
price range to meet everyone’s budget. John is happy to take
on the simplest of jobs as well as the most intricate.
While cabinets are the majority of LaPierre’s business,
they also build beautiful custom entertainment centers, home theatres
and even custom closets. LaPierre Cabinetry has done work around
the United States and has been featured in magazines such as Architectural
Digest, Florida Design, Kitchen and Bath Business among others.
