Katros Farms Honeybells

Katros Farms is family owned since 1966 and is located between Haines City and Lake Alfred at 8043 Lake Lowery Road. From County Road 17 (old Polk City Road) go south on Lake Lowery Road for 4 miles on right (you will see signs on the way).

Honeybells are now in season. Honeybells are a hybrid that goes back centuries, a cross between a Dancy tangerine and grapefruit and what a wonderful combination, producing the sweetest and juiciest fruit in the world. Since they grow the Pomelos and the Dancy tangerine, we can see why this combination is a winner. They have a short window of availability between January through February so if you want to try to take home or to ship this delicious and juicy fruit, now is the time. The Honeybells are also known as the Minneola Tangelo.

Mitch Katros, the owner of Katros Farms, says that they will have some great specials for you (just bring this article and they will give you a 5 lb bag of Honeybells at half price if you purchase one 5 lb bag for $4.00). If you want to ship some Honeybells, a sampler special box of 9 to 12 Honeybells is available for $25, which includes shipping to the Eastern Seaboard.
