Free Pet Microchip Event And Donations For Bahamian Pets Impacted By Hurricane Dorian

Posted on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 1:06 am

Tavares Crossroads Veterinary Clinic in cooperation with LEASH, Inc., is offering to microchip your pet at no charge on Thursday, September 19 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm and no appointment is necessary. Proof of Lake County Florida residency and a valid rabies certificate is required.
During this event we will also be accepting donations to help the homeless Bahamian animals on the Abaco Islands which were heavily impacted, actually destroyed in many cases, by Hurricane Dorian. We will be accepting cash donations or cans of pet food or other pet supplies that will be sent to a veterinary clinic in Marsh Harbour that Crossroads has worked with in the past. If your pet is not yet chipped, now is the perfect opportunity to have this done at no charge and also help pets impacted by Hurricane Dorian.
The address for Tavares Crossroads Veterinary Clinic is 2030 State Road 19 in Tavares. If you have any questions, please call 352-343-0300.
