The 22nd annual Spring Festival, formerly the Mount Dora Collectibles & Crafts Show kicks off in the streets of downtown Mount Dora on Saturday morning March 16, 2019 at 9:00am.
Join Visit Mount Dora™ as the downtown Mount Dora, FL streets come alive with more than 250 exhibitors setting up to show and sell their unique creations and artwork.
Janet Gamache, the Mount Dora Spring Festival event coordinator says, “The event has evolved from the old antique show that is was 20 years ago into a fun eclectic festival with one of a kind treasures for everyone.”
Another new feature of the show is the ability to purchase beer and wine and walk among the booths with your cocktail to shop due to a new downtown entertainment district law. “It allows visitors to purchase alcohol at local establishments and walk around with an approved plastic cup. We want folks to come out, relax, enjoy the festival and linger,” says Gamache.
Getting to the event will be easier than ever with the addition of a new train shuttle provided by Orlando and Northwestern Railway from Mount Dora Plaza at 2700 W Old US Hwy 441. The fee is $5 round trip and parking is free. It will run from 9am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Free shuttle service will also be provided by the City of Mount Dora from Mount Dora Golf Club located at 1100 S.Highland St, Mt Dora, FL 32757.
The Mount Dora Spring Festival is a fun, family friendly two-day, open-air event. There will be a free bounce house for kids and plenty of good festival type food in Sunset Park.
