Omega Lambda Gamma Fundraising Dinner for Student Athletes

On Saturday, January 13, 2017, the Mount Dora Police Department will host a fundraising dinner to support Mount Dora High School student athletes.
The program, Omega Lambda Gamma, is a program that was developed by MDPD Officer St. Francis Smith who is the Mount Dora High School Resource Officer. The program is a co-ed college preparatory community organizational society that prepares the student athlete for a successful academic and collegiate athletic career.
During the dinner there will be an induction ceremony of the first student pledges and an orientation about Omega Lambda Gamma. A professional recruiter from NCSA (Next College Student Athlete) will discuss the program and how it will assist student athletes to secure a college scholarship.
The dinner will be held at Lake Receptions, 4425 North Highway 19A, Mount Dora from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
