Zephyrhills’s Chase Compton Achieves Black Belt��

10 year old Chase Compton recently passed his Black Belt test. Chase has been in training at Spivey Karate, in Dade City, for 6 years. “One thing is for sure, Chase is not a quitter,” said his instructor, William Spivey. “He is a very intelligent & hard working young man who knows how to set goals.” Compton is the 124th martial artist to receive a Black Belt from 10th Degree Black Belt Soke Grand Master Spivey. Chase also recently earned the American Eagle Award (the martial arts equivalent of the Eagle Scout) from the Black Belt Club of America.
