The Music Man at Sonnentag Theatre

Kicking off its 70th Season as Mount Dora’s very own community theater, and just in time for the patriotic days of summer, the IceHouse opens its star-spangled family musical treat, The Music Man. The IceHouse Theatre is located at 1100 N. Unser St., Mount Dora, FL 32757.
Performances: The Music Man runs Friday, July 14 – Sunday, August 6. Show Dates are July 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30, Aug. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Show Times: Wednesdays at 7:30 (August 2 only); Thursdays at 7:30; Fridays at 8:00; Saturdays 2:00 (July 15, 22); Saturdays 8:00 (July 29, August 5); Sundays at 2:00.
The Music Man, which features book, music and lyrics by Meredith Willson, is based on a story by Willson and Franklin Lacey and features an extraordinary cast of 45 performers. The show is being directed by Managing Artistic Director, Darlin Barry, with set design by David W. Clevinger, music direction by Terry Thomas and Susan Eissele; choreography by Elizabeth Block and Lisa Renee Johnson, lighting by Philip Lupo and costumes by Bonnie Swanson, Kate Olsen and Kathy Campbell.
