Triangle Boat Club March Activities

March 14th, Wednesday – “Day Cruise” Lake Minneola, Clermont. TBC members and guests will launch at the Lake Minneola Boat Launch (930 W. Minneola Avenue. Directions: located off Minneola Avenue between 12th Street and West Avenue – southern end of Lake Minneola). Boaters will cruise around the Clermont Chain of Lakes where we will take in the beautiful homes surrounding the lakes. For lunch we will dock and eat at the Tiki Bar and Grill. After lunch, we will continue our cruise, and then head back to the boat launch. Guests are welcome. March 16th , Third Friday Social – Grandma Jane’s Meatloaf Dinner. Our hosts will spoil you with their famous, best ever, Grandma Jane’s meatloaf, mashed potatoes, broccoli casserole, salad, and dessert! Make sure and put this awesome social on your calendar! March 23 – 25th – Sunnyland Antique Boat Show. TBC members will be a proud exhibitor at the popular Sunnyland Antique Boat Show – the biggest and best, well-attended, boat show in Central Florida – located in Wooten Park in downtown Tavares. Come meet us, ask lots of questions, and get a free coolie cup! Call for information 352/533-8398.
March 24th, Saturday – Sunnyland Antique Boat Show Lunch Bunch. Anyone interested, TBC members, guests, friends, meet at noon, under the big food tent, (Antique Boat Show). We will meet, greet, tour the ‘show’, and then have lunch together. Be sure to stop by the official TBC booth! Everyone will have a great time! Call for information 352/533-8398.
March 28th, Wednesday – Lunch Bunch. Meet/Time: Boaters will meet at Triangle Boat Club and depart at 10:30 am. Boaters will relax while cruising and enjoying the magnificent beauty of the Dead River, into Lake Eustis, and then the amazing Dora Canal. Once we boat into Lake Dora, we will head for the Mt. Dora Historic Inn, where we will meet up with drivers, and enjoy a tasty meal, in a quaint, historic setting. Guests are welcome. Cruise leader is Alan Osterhoudt, call for information 352/533-8398.
