Auditions at Melon Patch Playhouse

Auditions for Guys and Dolls will be held at the Melon Patch Playhouse, 311 N 13th St., Leesburg, on July 18th and 19th at 7 p.m.

A large and varied cast is required so everyone is welcome to audition. The show is under the direction of John Turcotte with Billie Thatcher as Assistant Director. No appointments or prepared audition pieces are needed. All who audition will be taught the song "Guys and Dolls" as a group and then will be asked to sing a few lines individually. Those auditioning for leads will be asked to sing specific excerpts from the show. Choreographer Sally Gage will also teach the entire group a general movement sequence and may ask some to dance for her in groups and individually. Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing for movement.
