Melon Patch Theater
Wednesday, August 4, 2010
We have a wonderful 60th season prepared for you and it has already been received with a Standing-O. Come help us celebrate and treat yourself to the Melon Patch production of The Sunshine Boys. Leave your cares at our door and enter the world of Neil Simon and his comic genius.
Al (Hank DeLorme) and Willie (Fred Due) as “Lewis and Clark” were top-billed vaudevillians for over forty years. Now they aren’t even speaking. When CBS requests them for a “History of Comedy” retrospective, a grudging reunion brings the two back together, along with a flood of memories, miseries and laughs. Don’’t miss this hilarious comedy. Show runs through August 1, 2010. For reservations, contact the Melon Patch Playhouse, 311 N 13th St., Leesburg, FL, @ (352)-787-3013 between 9 a.m. & 1 p.m., Monday - Friday.
For the 2010 - 2011 season our third Saturday performance for each play will be at 2PM - NOT 8PM. We hope you like this new matinee time. Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $7 for students.
