Small Fruit for Central Florida
Wednesday, July 28, 2010
Many of the small fruiting plants that can be grown here in central Florida are perfect for a residential size landscape. Blueberries, strawberries and grapes are a few of the easy to grow fruits that can be incorporated in your landscape.
Charles Fedunak, Horticulturist with the University of Florida IFAS and Lake County Extension will be presenting a program on how to care for small fruit in your landscape. The program will be held August 3rd at the Lake County Agriculture Center at 1951 Woodlea Rd in Tavares from 10-12. Admission is $5.00. For more information on the program or your landscape plant questions contact the Lake County Extension Office at (352)343-4101.
