Boy Scout Auction
Thursday, August 12, 2010
In an effort to further expand our programs, the Central Florida Council will conduct its 14th Annual Boy Scout Travel, Sports and Entertainment Auction on Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Sonesta Hotel Orlando Downtown (60 N. Ivanhoe Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32804).
The Boy Scout Auction is a well-established and FUN event, offering round-trip flights, cruises, hotel stays, autographed merchandise, restaurant certificates, golf packages, and other exciting vacation packages to over 800 guests.
There are two ways that people and businesses can help. They can donate items or attend the event. There is no admission fee. VIP ticket packages are also available: $125 per couple and include a hotel stay at the Sonesta Hotel Orlando Downtown the night of the auction, valet parking, Private VIP area for complementary food and beverages, and breakfast in the morning.
Take this opportunity to help support the 55,000+ families involved in the Central Florida Boy Scouts programs as well as marketing your business or organization
2010 is Boy Scouts of America's 100th Anniversary and what a year it has been already. We have had more than 7,000 new families joined our programs, our Scouts collected over 620,000 pounds of food for fourteen local food banks, and nearly 4,000 Scouts learned about citizenship, nature conservation, self-respect and service during summer camp.
