Volunteer Training at Cornerstone Hospice

Have you ever thought of offering your time and services as a volunteer for a worthy local non-profit? Cornerstone Hospice is having a two-day Volunteer Training on Friday, August 13 and 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day at the organization's corporate offices 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares. Participants will receive lunch, snacks and sodas. If you could make some time to help a neighbor, run some errands, read a book or magazine to a patient, or simply keep a patient company, Hospice needs volunteers who would like to help patients and their loved ones, especially if you live in Tavares, Clermont, Umatilla, Leesburg, or anywhere in Lake county.
