Blind/Visually Impaired Person (VIP) Group Meeting

The Mount Dora Lion's Blind/Visually Impaired Person Support Group will meet at 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Athens NY Style Diner, 18750 Highway 441 Mt. Dora, FL 32757 Phone: 352-385-3592.

Following dinner, Mrs. Chantel Buck, Case Manager, New Vision for Independence will be the guest speaker. Mrs. Buck will speak about the free training opportunities which are available to the visually challenged residents of Lake/Sumter Counties and The Villages. These services are available at New Vision for Independence which is located on the campus of Lake/Sumter Community College.

The Mount Dora Lions Club sponsors this support group to provide awareness, mutual support, interaction, advocacy and self reliance to our visually challenged neighbors.
