Hospital Welcomes Coordinator

Florida Hospital Waterman Cancer Institute is pleased to welcome Jacqueline Barrett, RN, BSN, to the role of Breast Care Coordinator.

A graduate of Southern College in Tennessee, Ms. Barrett has been a registered nurse since 1983 and comes to Florida Hospital Waterman Cancer Institute with 25 years of oncology experience and expertise. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society, the Association of Nurse Navigators, the National Coalition of Oncology Nurse Navigators, and the American Society for Radiation Oncology. She will be sitting for the Certified Breast Care Nurse clinical exam in November 2010.

According to Ms. Barrett, "As Breast Care Coordinator, I provide one part of medical guidance and one part of emotional support to personally walk patients and their families through the breast cancer treatment process."
