Before School Orientation Mount Dora Middle School
Wednesday, August 4, 2010
Orientation for the incoming 6th graders and new students will begin at 10 a.m. on August 20, in the school cafeteria. After a brief presentation, students can pick up their schedules and visit classrooms. From 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. hot dogs, chips and soda will be available for $3. This cookout will be the first fundraiser of the school year. From 1:30 until 3 p.m., returning students can pick up their schedules and visit classrooms. Student names will be posted in the cafeteria. Students will need to find their names and then go to the homeroom teacher to pick up schedules. School personnel will be available to help students and parents. Students who are unable to attend the orientation will be directed to the lists in the cafeteria on the first day of school.
New students to the Mount Dora area need to contact the school at 352-383-6101 or 6815 to set up an appointment for registration. New student registration begins July 26.
