Fall Classes Start Soon at LSCC

Wednesday, August 18, 2010

Classes start in less than two weeks at Lake-Sumter Community College, but there is still time to apply and register by the start of Fall Term on August 23. New students need to complete the enrollment process prior to registering online at www.lscc.edu. The admissions application, enrollment steps and the schedule of classes are available from LSCC's homepage.

Just a reminder that SAT scores or high school grades are not a factor when enrolling at LSCC. Students need only a high school diploma or a GED to apply. The college also caters to part-time students, who work or have family obligations. You can take one course or a full load, and LSCC's three campuses, along with day and evening classes offer students a flexible selection class times and locations.

Don't forget that LSCC's tuition is much less than that of state universities, yet its academic reputation is second-to-none. Smaller classes offer a personal learning environment, and support services such as libraries, learning centers, advisors and tutors are here to help students be successful. Call 787-3747, or 568-0001 in Sumter County, to make an appointment with an advisor, or visit our website for complete information so you can get a "Great Education Close to Home."
