Join the Florida Native Plant Society Lake Beautyberry Chapter on Sunday, January 15, at 2 pm. Anne Cox, PhD, will present the results of a recent survey and study done of the wildflowers of Lake County. The program will be accompanied by photos. Come early at 1:30 pm for the native plant sale. The meeting will be at Trout Lake Nature Center. Visitors are always welcome.
To reach Trout Lake Nature Center drive north on SR 19N through Eustis, turn right on SR 44. The entrance to Trout Lake is on the right a short distance from the intersection of SR 44 and SR 19N. For information call 352.357.7536.
