Coveted Spike Award Winner
Friday, February 3, 2012
The Home Builders Association of Lake-Sumter has awarded Andrew Nutt, President of Holly Homes, Inc. and a third generation builder, the coveted Spike Award for outstanding membership recruitment during the past year.
Nutt joined the association in 2006 and earned his way into the Spike Club, an elite group of Association members recognized for outstanding achievement in membership. He recruited and retained more members to the association during the last calendar year and earned more "spike" points than any other member. He also served as President of the association in 2010 and 2011.
When asked why he considers membership in the association so important, he responded, "As a third generation builder, I have seen and experienced the value that the association brings to my individual growth as well as how it helps my business."
The Home Builders Association of Lake-Sumter is a non-profit trade industry association representing 200 construction companies and associated business industries. Formed in 1973, the HBA is the local affiliate of the National Association of Builders (NAHB) and the Florida Association of Home Builders (FHBA).
