Heart Healthy Wellness Fair

Hospital Waterman (FHW) invites you to "Love Your Heart...For A Change" at a special health and wellness fair centered on cardiovascular health. The fair, which will include FREE health screenings for the public will be held February 14th from 9:00am to 12:00pm in the FHW Garden Conference Center, located at 1000 Waterman Way, Tavares.

Trained healthcare professionals and staff will be available offering the latest information on cardiovascular disease and services available to the community.The free health screenings will include but are not limited to a heart health risk assessment, glucose, and cholesterol (fasting preferred).

In addition to screenings, adult flu and pneumonia vaccinations will be provided by the Lake County Department of Health. Flu vaccination is free with Medicare Part B or $25 and Pneumonia vaccination is free with Medicare Part B or $45. Participants wanting to receive free vaccinations must have Medicare Part B card with them. Cash and checks will be accepted for all others.
