Inaugural Lake Round-Up and Panel of LSCC Presidents

Lake-Sumter Community College is celebrating 50 years of serving the citizens of Lake and Sumter counties. From the first graduating class of 39 people to the thousands of students who walk the halls, LSCC continues to be an integral part of the community with over 5,000 students currently enrolled. To kick off this momentous occasion the Lake-Sumter Community College Alumni Association will be hosting an Alumni Wine & Cheese Meet and Greet Event accompanied by a Panel of LSCC Presidents.

This memorable event will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the Everett Kelly Convocation Center on the Leesburg Campus in Magnolia Room. The event will provide you with the opportunity to visit with the four former LSCC Presidents; Dr. Paul P. Williams, Dr. Robert S. Palinchak, Dr. Carl C. Andersen, and Dr. Robert W. Westrick as well as the current LSCC President, Dr. Charles R. Mojock. You will hear from each one of these pioneers of higher education regarding what their fondest memories of LSCC are and what was their greatest accomplishment while serving Lake and Sumter counties. You will also get a chance to hear more information about the new LSCC Alumni Association, and all the great events and benefits Alumni receive for joining. Come out and support your alma mater by connecting with past and present alumni.
