Scholarships from Melon Patch Players

The Melon Patch Players, Inc. annual $1,000 scholarship is open to graduating students of Lake & Sumter Counties. The scholarship is available to a graduating senior who plans to either major or minor in the performing arts in college.

On occasion, there have been two scholarships awarded in the amount of $500 each. Applications have been sent to all high school counselors in the area and must be returned to the Melon Patch scholarship committee no later than April 1.

If your school did not receive an application, or if you would like an additional one, contact the office at (352)787-3013. Mail the completed application to Melon Patch Theatre, 311 N. 13th Street, Leesburg, FL 34748. Attn: Scholarship Committee. Applications received after April 1st will not be considered.
