Clair Miller, WW11, Navy Vet, celebrating 100th birthday, March 22, 2019 at his community center located at Bedrock-Hibiscus Mobile Home Community in Mt. Dora, where he and his bride, Marge, have been snowbirds for the past 18 years.
Clair served in the Sea Bees Can Do unit in Okinawa, Japan. He has many stories about his time in service, some good and some bad.
Clair was born in the small town of Adrian, PA. He has had many careers during his life, farming, owning his own coal mine and hauling the coal in his Model T Ford truck, developing and running a volunteer fire department, building clocks of biblical inspiration and more!
Clair is still active in the community even after some health setbacks. He and his bride are a joy to share time with as they try to get everyone in the community to take part in community events.
