Wild Ibis Art Studios and Gallery of Eustis will hold its next opening on Friday, May 17th, from 6 to 8 p.m. The new show will feature the works of Richard D. Colvin, former Director of the Lake Eustis Museum of Art, and an avid painter. The gallery’s own artists, Kelley Batson Howard, Lou Buigas, Cathy Caine, Karen Kline and Jackii Molsick will also feature new work. The show will run through June 14th.
Colvin, of Groveland, is well-known in the central Florida arts community. In addition to the Lake Eustis Museum, he has worked with and in several art centers and museums, and as a festival juror throughout central Florida. As an artist, Colvin has explored printmaking, drawing and pastels, but the Wild Ibis show will feature his colorful, impressionistic oil paintings.
Wild Ibis Art Studios and Gallery is a collective of artists’ working studios, classroom and gallery space which is located adjacent to downtown Eustis at 133 N. Grove Street, Suite A. For more information, 352-459-3585 or
